WHO WE ARE

The Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association, Inc. (VSUAA NOVA) is a community of dedicated Virginia State University graduates committed to strengthening ties between alumni, students, and our greater Northern Virginia community. We celebrate the legacy of VSU while working together to support educational advancement, service, and lifelong Trojan pride.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is simple: To engage alumni, support students, and uplift our communities through service, scholarships, outreach, and connection.

We do this by fostering meaningful relationships, offering programs that promote personal and professional growth, and ensuring that VSU’s values continue to thrive long after graduation.

WHAT WE DO

Scholarships & Student Support

We provide financial support and mentorship to VSU students from the Northern Virginia region to help ensure their academic success and pathway to graduation.

Community Engagement

Through service projects, partnerships, and outreach initiatives, we aim to improve the lives of those in our local communities while representing the spirit of VSU

Alumni Connection & Networking

We keep alumni connected through events, volunteer opportunities, and chapter activities that build professional networks and lifelong friendships.
